Bill is married with two children. 1 girl age 24, and 1 boy age 20. He started playing music at the age of 15. His first choice of instrument wasn't the guitar though. He played drums first. Lynyrd Skynyrd was his inspiration for playing, and it still shows today. I don't believe there is a Skynyrd song that he can't play. Bill takes a lot of pride in being very technical about his playing. He wants his playing to sound exactly how you remember the song to be. The Roosters was the name of his first band. Although he hasn't played in a large number of bands, Bill stays committed once he starts a project. He believes that being able to play such a large number of songs is his best feature as a musician. "I've got a million of 'em" and he really does!

Having always been a big fan of rock music, the list of concerts he has been to see is rather lengthy. They include Lynyrd Skynyrd (Go figure!), Pink Floyd, Peter Frampton, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and the list goes on and on. He says that there isn't one favorite that sticks out above the rest, and that all of the concerts enjoyable and fun. The one concert he didn't see, but wishes he had, would be the original Lynyrd Skynyrd.
